Yes, I’m that very annoying person who only wears pajama sets to bed. Not only do they make me feel put together, but they also make the everyday task of winding down feel luxurious. Because of this, I’ve tested out countless brands over the years. Here are the ones that hold up well after multiple washes and are actually worth the money.

ThirdLove

A new set that I’m loving for colder months…

I’ve been a fan of ThirdLove for their comfortable bras, so I’m excited that they came out with a line of loungewear. This top and trousers are made of a reversible material that has smooth fleece on one side and a furry material on the other. Turn it inside out depending on how much warmth you need.

Sani

A silk-like pair that is elevated enough to wear to a dinner party…

This set from Sani is made of a silk-like material that’s washable. I love its bright chartreuse color and leopard motif. It’s ideal for days where you want to wear something that’s dressier, but still cozy enough. I’d argue you could wear this to a dinner party and no one would care. ($140, Sani)

Target

The Target pajamas that are a constant bestseller…

Skimm’rs love these pajamas from Target, and I can attest that they’re really that good. They’re only $25 and they’re made of a buttery-soft Modal fabric that has a hint of spandex for some stretch. If you’re a bride, get these for your bridesmaids. ($25, Target)

Shopbop

A pair that have gone viral on Instagram…

If you’re looking for the comfiest pajamas with the best prints, you need to check out Cozyland. I have two different pairs from the brand at this point because their prints always make me smile. They’re made of a mix of cotton and jersey, so they’re very soft. I prefer their tank sets, but their fabric is lightweight enough for those who run hot at night. ($116, Shopbop)

Skims

The most underrated set I own…

Skims itself is not an underrated brand, but I’ve noticed that the brand’s Soft Lounge Loose Shorts are not talked about enough. I have them in a ribbed version that are now sold out and they’re the perfect not-too-tight short for nights where you want to wear something lightweight with coverage. I wear mine with the matching tank top, too. If you’re looking for a stretchy set, get these.

Petite Plume

The ultimate classy pajama set…

Whenever I wear my Petite Plume pajamas, I feel the most put together. The brand was founded by a former CIA officer looking to create a pajama line made without harsh chemicals. These are some of the softest I own, and while they’re pricey, they’re worth every penny. With every wash, they haven’t randomly shrunken or changed shape. Instead they’ve gotten softer. These would make an incredible gift for just about anyone. PS: Prince George is a fan, too. ($98, Petite Plume)

Eberjey

The cult-favorite set from Eberjey…

If you’ve been debating, Eberjey is indeed worth its endless hype. This set is made of a softer-than-a-cloud jersey material and comes in countless colors. I wish that I could de-influence you and say that it’s not worth it, but it’s popular for a reason. My pair has lasted for years; I’ve just found you have to be extra-gentle when washing it. ($138, Eberjey)

PJ Salvage

A nightshirt you can throw on…

PJ Salvage is another brand that I love for their uplifting prints. This nightshirt is a recent favorite. It’s quick to put on thanks to its button-down front. Sometimes wearing bottoms to bed can be uncomfortable or too sweaty during warmer months. This shirt solves that issue, so it would be fantastic for any nursing moms looking for an easy option to slip into. ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

Gap

A really good set from Gap…

One of my friends recently got married and bought all of her bridesmaids pajamas from Gap. I was shocked at the quality. They truly felt like some of my more expensive sets, but at a fraction of the cost. Pick from a few solid colors.

Aerie

Some classic flannel pants…

You can’t go wrong with a pair of flannel pants and a T-shirt. I had a pair from Aerie that I wore continuously since middle school (until I threw them away last year), so consider the quality unmatched. These are definitely going to sell out ahead of the holidays, so stock up while you can. ($44.95, Aerie)

Old Navy

A ribbed henley set that looks way more expensive than it is…

With the holidays just around the corner, I have a feeling that the red and green floral-printed version of these are going to be all the rage. This set is perfect if you’re looking for an on-trend pair that doesn’t have that classic collared-pajama silhouette. Plus, the price is unbeatable.

Cozy Earth

Some pajamas that are Oprah-approved…

I will do practically anything that Oprah Winfrey tells me to and when it comes to this pair of woven pajamas from Cozy Earth, I’m once again following her lead. These are the ultimate pair of striped pajamas. They’re made of a blend of Tencel and rayon so they’re slightly structured, but soft. The best part: The pants have an adjustable waistband. Pair with the coziest socks known to man. ($230, Cozy Earth)
