You might think the words “sleep” and “tech” when paired together feel counterintuitive. But the right tools and devices can make those prone to restlessness feel more relaxed. We’ve rounded up 14 of our favorite sleep tech products that actually make a difference in bedtime routines. These products make winding down feel more like a sacred ritual.

An effective humidifier with a built-in mood light…
I’ve spoken ad nauseum about my love for the Carepod One Plus. Even though it’s expensive, it is well worth its $350 price. It’s made of stainless steel and doesn’t require filters, so you can boil it on the stove or put it in the top rack of the dishwasher to clean. It also has a built-in mood light for added relaxation. If you’re prone to allergies, dry eyes, or an itchy throat every night, I’d highly recommend it.
An alarm you won’t want to chuck across the room…
No, it isn’t your phone. The Hatch Restore 3 alarm clock is more like a soothing sunrise in your room, paired with the exact sounds or songs you prefer to wake up to. While you can connect it to your phone, it’s not required, which is great news for anyone wanting to reduce their screen time in 2026. My favorite feature: creating a wake-up and winddown schedule with custom sounds and lights. It makes bedtime feel curated and special. PS: It's currently on sale for $25 off until March 22.
The tool that’s making my entire day better…
I’ve been testing out the internet-viral Brick for the last couple of months and can confirm it’s worth the hype. It’s a small device that will lock you out of apps that might be sucking time out of your day. You can create different modes and schedules for different apps, and if you need to access them, you have to physically “unbrick” your phone by holding it up to the device. It’s been a game changer for me in the evenings, and has cut down my doomscrolling habit by a landslide. Now, I actually get the bedtime reading done that I want to.
A sleep and fitness tracker that feels like gentle parenting…
We love that this fitness tracker looks at overall well-being, rather than zoning in on steps or diet. It’ll let you know how well you’re sleeping, your stress levels, and can even detect when you might be at risk for getting sick. We don’t find ourselves obsessing over the stats with this one, just using it to feel our best every day. Our editors also find that the general language on Oura is casual, low-pressure, and doesn’t shame you if you don’t meet your goals.
Some smartbuds dedicated to sleep…
These NextSense Smartbuds are one of the coolest releases we’ve seen this year. They’re earbuds with in-ear EEG sensing that’ll track your brainwaves as you’re asleep. From there, they’ll play soundscapes based on what you need, lulling you into a deeper sleep. These are ideal if you want to track your sleep and are sensitive to certain noises.
And a no-frills earbud option…
If you’re looking for something a little more paired back, we love these Ozlo Sleepbuds. They have a flatter shape, making them a solid option for side sleepers. They pair with a corresponding app where you can pick soundscapes, so they’ll block out any annoying AC or street noise. They also have basic biometric sensing and all-night battery life. We love that they’re FSA/HSA-eligible, too.
The best meditation app for every situation…
I’ve been a dedicated Headspace user for years, and I still can’t stop raving about it. It’s perfect for those looking for a guided meditation app that’s simple and easy to follow. My favorite feature of the app is its daily schedule, which precurates meditations to do throughout the day based on your needs. They have meditations for just about every situation, from leaving home and processing anger to building self-confidence and befriending your body. There’s even a section dedicated to sleep, which includes bedtime stories for kids. Your insurance might cover it, too. From now until March 16, you can save 40% on a yearly subscription.
The most luxurious eye mask we’ve ever tried…
Are Therabody’s SmartGoggles a need by any means? No. But if you have a hard time sleeping and can’t live without your eye mask, it’s a worthy investment. It has a 100% blackout design and can provide compression massage, along with heat and vibration therapies. If you’re prone to migraines, headaches, and stress, try this.
A bedside aromatherapy diffuser…
The biggest reason we love this aromatherapy diffuser from Canopy: it’s completely waterless. Which means you don’t have to worry about mold or mess. It works by way of evaporative diffusion, so all you have to do is add oil to the inside and to the stone on the top. The scent will fill your space from there. We love how compact it is, too.
A high-tech air purifier…
Our Commerce Director swears by her Blueair Purifier. It’ll remove nearly 100% of airborne particles and can clean up to 175 square feet in about 13 minutes. It has a 360 degree design, and it can even heat and cool your space. Because it’s so high-tech, it’ll automatically adjust its fan speed, give instant air-quality readings, and pull data on its corresponding app. Plus, you can control it via Alexa.
A compact sound machine…
You might want a device for winding down that’s simple and effective, and this adaptive sound machine is just that. It has everything from white noise to a looping fan sound, and you can adjust the volume based on your needs. Not to mention, this thing is tiny considering what it can do. It’s basic and nongimmicky, just how we like it.
Another smart alarm clock our editors reach for…
It feels like there are infinite “smart alarm clocks” on the market these days, and Loftie’s another one we’re impressed by for the price. It has built-in sound baths, guided meditations, a red-light mode, and bedtime signals. Its standout feature is its two-phase alarm. With that feature, the alarm mimics the body’s natural wake-up process (which means you won’t be hitting the snooze button over and over). Unlike the Hatch, you don’t need a subscription to really get the full experience.
A routine-friendly lamp…
Also from Loftie, our editors are into the brand’s smart lamp. It basically has the same features as the alarm clock in terms of lighting (sunrise wake-ups, bedtime signaling) without the alarm clock itself. Because it’s so design-forward, we’d suggest keeping it in your bedroom, so you can start and end your days with both relaxing and energizing lighting cues.
A meditation tool for beginners…
Our new-to-meditation editors were floored at the breathwork support Moonbird was able to provide. The compact device ergonomically fits in your hand. It’ll expand and move in different patterns that’ll guide your breathing. There’s even a corresponding app (that isn’t required to use) that’ll show your body’s response to the tool through heart rate and heart rate variability data. There’s also a sweet version for kids.
