Margo here. I’m a firm believer that reality TV stars are an untapped source of knowledge when it comes to product recommendations. Because of busy days of filming and running their own businesses, they know which items will save them time and energy. Today, the queen of keeping it real (and recent guest on Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?), Lala Kent, is here to Skimm Her Life and share the products she reaches for most. Lala, take it away…
Smartest purchase you’ve made recently?
This Crockpot. I never cook. It's a goal of mine in 2025 to start making home-cooked meals, and the Crockpot makes it so easy. ($42.88, Walmart)
Your favorite surprisingly useful item under $25?
DASH’s Rapid Egg Cooker. I don't care how many people say it's easy to make hard-boiled eggs. It's not. This thing is genius, and I use it every day. ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)
What are two parenting products you can’t live without?
Parker Baby Co.’s Diaper Caddy. I bought one for every “chill” room in my house. Also, Blooming Bath’s Baby Bath Seat. It’s a small, soft bath for the sink, and it’s easy to travel with. Once your baby has outgrown it, you can use it as a bath mat.
What’s an underrated product you swear by?
Tubby Todd All-Over Ointment. It’s a miracle worker. It cleared up my daughter’s baby acne so quickly, plus I use it for my other daughter's eczema. I even use it on my face! ($22+, Tubby Todd)
Your go-to products for long days of filming?
My Simple Modern cup for staying hydrated and Lumify eye drops for making my eyes feel awake.
