Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

Boarderie

A charcuterie board that eased our pre-party nerves...

I just turned 33 and hosted a party at my apartment. I was hosting 13 people for a pasta party, and didn't know what to do as an app that would keep people satiated before all the pasta was ready (my boyfriend and I were cooking). I decided to go with a charcuterie board from Boarderie, and boy, was I impressed. The board was delivered the day before, so we kept it in the fridge overnight. Everything was beautifully laid out and packaged for optimal freshness. I ended up going with the large board, and it was more than enough food for everyone. I really loved the diverse types of cheese, meats, and nuts included. It felt like a special combo of unique things, which I really appreciate because you are paying a decent price for the entire thing. You also get to keep the wood board, which is a nice added touch. I would definitely recommend this if you're hosting a party; it's so convenient that you can get something this curated delivered, especially because the day of I was so focused on the massive amount of pasta we needed to cook. —Alexandra Napoli ($139+, Boarderie)

sports-bra
Aritzia

The perfect sports bra for low-impact activities...

I've mostly been buying is activewear, because all I do these days is stay at home or go to yoga. I was hesitant to try Aritzia’s activewear line, because how good could it really be? But I should have listened to my Gen Z peers; I was severely mistaken. This bra doesn’t look like much, and it doesn’t feel like much, either — which is exactly the point, as there’s nothing worse than feeling like you’re wearing the boob wrap from She's the Man — but it’s somehow still supportive. This keeps everything under wraps (but not smushed) when I’m on the mat. I think I’ve found my perfect sports bra. —Martha Upton ($38, Aritzia)

sunscreen
EltaMD

A sunscreen we actually don't mind wearing...

Ever since I can remember, I have hated applying sunscreen. I’m quite fair-skinned, so I was always having to reapply. Plus, the formulas I grew up with were constantly burning my skin, causing breakouts, or getting in my eyes. But when I found this one, my war with sunscreen was seemingly over. I was shocked to find that my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin actually loves this mineral formula. It has amino acids to repair your skin barrier, ceramides to keep your skin hydrated, and centella asiatica that soothes even the angriest skin. The green tint also color corrects, so I don’t feel the need to layer a tinted moisturizer over it. —Martha Upton ($52, EltaMD)

hair-mask
Mane

A hair mask that doesn't feel like a chore...

Recently, I've been using a hair mask instead of a conditioner since my hair has been extra dry this winter. I've been testing this new Hydration Hugs one from Mane, and I love it. On top of the scent feeling fresh and nostalgic (with notes of strawberry, cream, and mandarin), it's so easy to use. Unlike other masks, you don't have to leave it on forever to get the desired results, just 30 seconds to a minute. I've found that my hair is more hydrated and air dries with less frizz when I use it. —Margo Ghertner ($26, Mane)

lip-balm
Amazon

Our favorite lip balm in a new scent...

C.O. Bigelow’s rose salve has acted as my emotional support lip balm since high school. On a recent outing to the legendary flagship in the West Village, I was kid-in-a-candy-store excited to discover that it comes in other scents, including this gorgeous Sakura Rose version. It’s still floral, with the sheerest hint of pink, but it has a fruitier edge to it that I find so delicious. I've also been using it to condition my cuticles and knuckles during this cold snap. —Caroline Goldstein ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

body-wash
Ursa Major

A body wash for a spa moment...

Consider this the newest celebrity in my shower routine. A little goes a long way, so it’s absolutely worth the price. And the scent? It’s a minty, eucalyptus-citrus blend that instantly levels up my shower and calms my nerves, leaving me feeling noticeably more relaxed. It’s less “quick rinse” and more “mini spa break.” —Sarai Thompson ($26, Ursa Major)

sweater
Etam

A sweater that introduced us to a brand...

I've been on the hunt for a sweater to match a light blue sequin skirt and recently learned about Etam. Not only did their crewneck sweater work perfectly with my skirt, but also I love wearing it with jeans or trousers for work days. It's soft, slightly oversized, easy to care for, and I've already received a lot of compliments. For spring, I've had my eyes on their high-neck tee, which will quickly become a staple come March. —Alessandra Rey ($59.95, Etam)

cologne
Amazon

A cologne that smells more expensive than it is...

I asked my boyfriend to test Harry's colognes a month ago, and now, it's the only brand he'll wear. He loves how clean and put-together they make him feel. And I love how light and airy the scent is. It's not overly musky or woodsy, but still present. PS: This three-piece set makes a great gift. —Alessandra Rey ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

lip-product
Amazon

A lip balm that saved our lips...

This is hands down the best hydrating lip balm I've ever used, and I've tried them all. This product got rid of my chapped lips in less than a week and has kept my lips hydrated all winter long. It’s a little pricey but will last you a long time. —Sam Baker ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)
