Products you buy through our links may earn us a commission. Oh, and if something's out of stock, oops, it was there (and all prices were accurate) at time of publication.

We’ll admit it: One major perk of our job as editors is that we get to try out tons of products to let you know if they’re truly worth your hard-earned money. We’re also just avid shoppers, so in the spirit of tossing gatekeeping to the curb, we’re sharing a few standout favorites from the past month that we usually reserve for the group chat. Welcome to the inside scoop.

The earbuds we reach for daily...

I have a love-hate relationship with earbuds. I tend to wear over-ear headphones while traveling purely for comfort, but for my day-to-day commute and workout, I've been wearing the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. So far, I really enjoy them. They're comfortable in my ear, and feature noise-cancellation so I'm not overwhelmed with street noise while I'm out on walks in New York City. I also don't need to charge them that often — maybe once a week — which is minimal. They provide up to 30 hours of listening time, thanks to the case that recharges them. They're sleek and can easily slip into a front pocket, but I always keep them in my crossbody so I'm never caught without them. —Alexandra Napoli ($229, Walmart)

Electrolyte packets that don't taste like salt water...

I’ve been doing a lot of hot yoga classes recently, because, as a pretty non-sweaty person, it’s the only time I feel like my body can fully detox. Plus, I love it as a form of meditation. When I’m doing three classes in a week, I could drink a thousand glasses of water and still feel dehydrated, so I like to supplement with electrolytes. These taste better than others, to the point where I get excited to drink them as a little treat. They also don’t have any sugar and are great for traveling. You can never be too hydrated. —Martha Upton ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

Our new favorite food storage containers...

I've been eyeing these deli containers from OXO ever since they came out a couple months ago. I finally got my hands on them this past month, and they're just as good as I thought they'd be. I've been using them for everything from storing leftovers to holding giant matcha lattes. I love that they're airtight, and the grippy lids mean they're easily stackable. Just put them on the top rack of your dishwasher when you're ready to clean. PS: I've used them to make overnight oats, too. —Margo Ghertner ({{dynamicPrice}}, Amazon)

A collab we couldn't wait to buy...

My love of Halloween is well-documented here, so you'll understand how excited I was to see the Gap x Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas collab drop. So excited, in fact, that I bought this "nightmare" tank top at 3 am last week, as soon as Instagram targeted me with the ad. I was surprised to see that the rest of the collection is not kitschy whatsoever, just a subtle nod to the movie. Who knew Jack Skellington could be so chic? —Caroline Goldstein ($28, Gap)

Our fall fragrance of choice...

I’m finally leveling up my fragrance game and saying goodbye to the Bath & Body Works mists I’ve been holding onto since high school (we listen and we don't judge). When I got this one from Sam Edelman, I was both excited and curious, and it did not disappoint. The scent has this effortless allure that makes me feel like I can walk into any room and leave a lasting impression. I’m adding it to my lineup for Fashion Week and all the seasonal parties ahead. —Sarai Thompson ($32+, Nordstrom)

Leatherology

A day-to-night leather tote...

With Fashion Week coming up, I decided it was finally time to invest in a high-quality, spacious tote that I could wear to the office, then to a work event, then to drinks after. When I saw that Leatherology dropped new fall-inspired colors of their coveted Mia bag, I knew I had to try it. One word: Wow. I got the moss color and am so pleased with how well it goes with everything in my closet. It elevates my off-duty outfit (aka jean shorts and a T-shirt) and goes with any of my workwear. I also love that the brand gives you an option to personalize your bag. If you've been looking for a tote that's chic, lightweight, and buttery-soft, this is it. —Alessandra Rey ($245, Leatherology)
