As a certified watch girlie, I never leave home without a watch on my wrist. That is, until I was on the way to the airport for the holidays and realized I’d forgotten to put on my tried-and-true watch. Thankfully, I had this Bulova watch waiting for me at my parents’ home, and for the next ten days, I didn’t take it off. I wore it for Christmas Eve dinner, on daily walks with my family, and even on New Year’s Eve with my rhinestone jeans. If 2026 is the year you finally start wearing a watch (the most classic of accessories, in my opinion), make it a Bulova.

Why I love the Bulova Goddess of Time watch…
Versatility. I need a watch that goes with everything, from athleisure to an evening gown. This one fits the bill, with its stainless steel mesh bracelet and blue sodalite stone dial that’s unique to each timepiece. It amps up a T-shirt and jeans, but it holds its own with dressier outfits, as well.
Comfort. It’s slim in a way that makes me forget I’m wearing it at all, and the bracelet is a lot more flexible than you would think. If you’re new to wearing a watch, it won’t feel clunky or take a while to get used to wearing. The band is also adjustable, so you can find the right fit without needing to take it to a jeweler.
Timelessness. Pun intended. I love that this watch looks vintage, and the daintier silhouette stands out among a sea of larger-faced women’s styles (I’m predicting a return to small faces this year). It’s unassuming in a way that says, “No, I don’t follow trends, but yes, I’m fabulous.”
Other Bulova watches I love…

The same watch but with a different face…
If you’re more of a gold person, this version has a rose gold band with a tiger’s eye face. It’s an incredibly unique combination that makes a statement. It also comes in a green-faced version that’s currently sold out, but you can sign up to be notified when it’s back. ($396)

A classic watch for every day…
If you want something you know you won’t get tired of over the years, this gold-tone stainless steel bracelet watch is a sure bet. It has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that’s also shatter-resistant, so it’s unlikely you’ll be able to scratch the face. The pink dial is a nice touch. ($316)

A leather-band watch you can still dress up…
The thing I love most about Bulova’s watches is how you can wear them with anything. While a watch with a leather band is typically more casual, this one has a floral aperture in the corner of the dial that dresses it up and reveals the inner workings of the watch. Unique timepieces have always been, and will always be, cool. ($476)
